Get care without the GP delay
The NHS Repeat Contraceptive Pill Service provides a convenient and confidential way for women to access ongoing contraception through their local pharmacy, without needing to book a GP appointment.
The service is designed for eligible women who need a repeat supply of their oral contraceptive pill. During an NHS-funded pharmacy consultation, a trained pharmacy professional will assess your suitability, check that it is safe for you to continue your pill, provide advice, and supply your repeat contraception where appropriate. If further assessment is needed, you may be referred to another healthcare service, such as your GP practice, NHS 111, a sexual health clinic, walk-in centre, A&E, or 999 in an emergency.

Online consultations are quick, usually taking around 10 to 15 minutes.
If treatment is suitable, you can often get NHS medicines the same day, helping you feel better sooner without waiting for a GP appointment.
